AI IN THE WORKFLOW

A usage spike becomes a capacity decision with context.

An example of what we can scope with your team. The tools and automation boundaries follow your workflow.

  1. See the pressure

Correlate resource usage, workload behavior and cost signals.

  2. Assess the options

Use AI-assisted analysis to identify changes worth testing.

  3. Change with control

Apply reviewed configuration and verify health and spend.

What you take away

Cloud priorities, reviewed infrastructure changes and operating checks.

Depending on fit: Azure · AWS · infrastructure as code · observability

Scope this with us

Choose a defined project or ongoing delivery. Engineering Capacity is one option when its scope fits. Scope and price are agreed first.

What we build

AI Cloud Operations Foundations

Infrastructure work for systems that need safer releases, predictable scale, and visible production behavior.

  • 01

    Cloud foundations for operating systems

We design the environments, networks, storage, queues, identity, and runtime boundaries that keep automation, AI, and platform workflows stable.

  • 02

    Move without breaking production

We migrate workloads, isolate risk, validate data paths, and create rollback plans so cloud changes do not interrupt the operation.

  • 03

    Capacity without runaway spend

We combine workload and cost signals with AI-assisted analysis to recommend capacity changes. Reviewed limits and budgets govern scaling.

  • 04

    Signals before incidents

We connect logs, metrics, traces, alerts, and ownership paths so production issues become visible before teams are forced to guess.

Stack & practice

Reliability Controls

The cloud layer is designed around containment, visibility, and recovery, not just hosting.

Book Infrastructure Review
  • 01

    Environment Control

Production, staging, secrets, access, and network boundaries are separated so changes do not leak across environments.

  • 02

    Rollback Readiness

Deployments include rollback paths, data protection, and validation checks before critical workflow changes go live.

  • 03

    Load and Failure Boundaries

Queues, workers, rate limits, retries, and fallback paths keep dependency failure from spreading through the system.

  • 04

    Cost and Capacity Visibility

Usage signals, resource budgets, and scaling rules make cloud spend and capacity pressure visible before they become business problems.

A clear starting point

Choose the work you need now.

Identify the immediate infrastructure risk and agree a project. Engineering Capacity is available for ongoing delivery; monitoring and on-call cover require their own agreement.

  • Cloud foundation or migration
  • AI workload hosting
  • Capacity and cost optimisation

Agree the finish line first

Reviewed architecture, prioritised changes and agreed health, cost and recovery checks.

Migration scope includes cutover ownership, data validation and recovery objectives. Provider costs remain separate.

Why it matters

Production Outcomes

The result is infrastructure your team can trust when automation, AI, and platforms become business-critical.

  • 01

    Safer Releases

Cloud environments support staged rollout, validation, and rollback so changes are less likely to disrupt live workflows.

  • 02

    Clearer Incident Signals

Monitoring is connected to ownership and recovery actions, reducing time lost to unclear failures.

  • 03

    Predictable Scaling

Systems handle demand changes through planned capacity rules instead of emergency infrastructure work.

  • 04

    Lower Operational Risk

Access, secrets, network boundaries, and dependency behavior are designed to contain failure and protect critical data paths.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Scope, delivery and what happens next. The details that help you decide.

Can you work in our existing cloud accounts?

Yes, subject to an access review. We agree least-privilege roles, change approvals and account ownership before making changes.

Which cloud provider should we use?

We assess the current stack, team skills, residency needs and operating cost. Migration is not automatically necessary; improving the existing setup may be the better scoped project.

Does an AI workload need GPUs?

Not always. An application calling a model API may need conventional application infrastructure. Hosted inference adds model sizing, GPU capacity and utilisation decisions, which we assess separately.

Will a migration cause downtime?

We plan the cutover, validation and fallback around your availability needs. Any maintenance window and data-sync limitations are agreed; zero downtime is not assumed.

How are backups and recovery handled?

We agree recovery objectives, backup ownership and restore checks. A configured backup alone is not evidence that recovery works.

Who pays cloud and model costs?

Your provider usage and licences are separate from engineering fees unless stated otherwise. Budgets and alerts can be part of the agreed implementation.

Does this include 24/7 monitoring or on-call support?

No automatic coverage is implied. Monitoring, response hours, escalation and incident ownership must be defined in a separate or explicitly included support agreement.
