Where the risk lives

The ways production keeps burning you

Every one of these is a symptom, not the disease. Reliability is something you engineer in — once.

The diagnosis

All six are one problem: the system was never given an operational foundation — so every deploy is a gamble. Build the foundation once, and the rest of the list starts disappearing with it.

  1. 01Deploys need a maintenance windowReleases happen at midnight with everyone on standby, because shipping during the day is unthinkable.
  2. 02Users find outages firstThe first sign production is down is a customer email — not an alert from your own systems.
  3. 03Alert noise and blind spotsHundreds of alerts nobody reads any more, right next to failures nothing monitors at all.
  4. 04One fragile serverA single box everyone is afraid of. If it dies, so does the business — and everyone knows it.
  5. 05Performance degrades under loadFine at 9 AM, crawling by noon — and nobody can say why, so the fix is a restart and a prayer.
  6. 06On-call burnoutThe same people firefight the same class of incident, at night, forever — and they are getting tired.
Live reliability runtime

Every release safe by default

A commit flows through CI, a canary deploy, health checks, and full promotion with zero downtime. Observability streams the whole time, and each release is confirmed healthy before it carries real traffic. No hero deploys, no blind debugging.

Reliability Engineering
50x deployment frequency

CI/CD, infrastructure, and monitoring rebuilt to support safe releases across a multi-app healthcare platform — 96% faster release cycles and 99.95% uptime.

The honest boundary

We do not chase 100% uptime theater. Every extra nine has a price, and past a point it buys resilience against failures you will never have. We buy down the risks that actually bite — the fragile deploy, the blind outage, the server that cannot die.

  • Reliability targets set by business impact, not vanity nines
  • Spend goes to the failure modes behind your real incidents
  • We will tell you when the current setup is already enough
ILLUSTRATIVE WALKTHROUGH

From an incident to a rehearsed recovery

  1. 01

    Observe · identify the failure

Trace a failed request across logs, service health and the most recent release.

  2. 02

Recover · use the agreed runbook

Rehearse rollback or recovery with the responsible team and record the constraints.

  3. 03

    Verify · prevent the repeat

Add the relevant release or alert check and confirm that the agreed failure case is detectable.

Agree access, recovery objectives and observation periods. Ongoing on-call response is a separate scope unless explicitly included.

How we deliver

From fragile production to boring deploys

Four phases, and each one hands you a concrete artifact — not a status update.

  1. 01 · Observe

    Instrument the system

We wire metrics, logs, and traces into production first, so every later change is measured instead of guessed.

    You get

Dashboards and alerts on the signals that matter

    Done when

The top three failure modes are visible and named

  2. 02 · Stabilize

    Make deploys safe

We build the pipeline — CI, canary deploys, health checks, and instant rollback — so releasing stops being an event.

    You get

An automated pipeline with one-click rollback

    Done when

The agreed release and rollback rehearsal passes

  3. 03 · Harden

    Remove single points of failure

We add redundancy, autoscaling, and load-tested capacity so the fragile pieces stop being existential.

    You get

Failover and scaling verified under real load

    Done when

Agreed recovery checks meet the documented service objectives

  4. 04 · Operate

    Run it calmly

We tune alerts, write runbooks, and set up an on-call rotation that pages people for real incidents only.

    You get

Runbooks and an on-call setup people can live with

    Done when

Alert ownership and the agreed observation checks are verified

Is this the right starting point?

Where Cloud & Reliability Stabilization fits

We would rather tell you it is not the right starting point than stabilize a system that is not the constraint.

Good fit when

Start here
  • Production incidents, outages, or rollbacks are actively hurting the business
  • Deploys are risky, manual, and something everyone dreads
  • You have no real observability — failures are debugged blind
  • Performance or scaling problems surface under real load

Not a fit when

Not yet
  • You are pre-production with no live users or real traffic yet
  • The need is a brand-new build, not stabilizing an existing system
  • We would have no access to the running system to instrument it
  • The constraint is product scope, not reliability of what ships

Not sure which side you are on? Most teams aren’t — until the workflow is mapped.

YOUR FIRST ENGAGEMENT

Start with the incidents that keep coming back.

Review a recent failure and the current delivery path. Decide what needs stabilising first and how improvement will be checked.

Start with a conversation

Bring the symptoms, a recent incident timeline and an overview of your hosting and deployment setup.

An example helps; a finished specification is not required.

BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION

Know what you are agreeing to.

  • A prioritised reliability assessment
  • Monitoring, recovery and release recommendations
  • A scoped stabilization plan with verification steps

We agree the scope, delivery approach and price before implementation. Where discovery is needed, its scope and fee are agreed first.

Access requirements and service objectives are agreed before work. Illustrative uptime figures are not a service-level commitment.

A RELEVANT WAY TO WORK WITH US

System Rescue

Diagnose and repair an existing system. Broader app and infrastructure work is quoted after scope review; the Quick Fix price only covers eligible workflow failures.

Explore System RescueAsk about your project
Is this emergency repair or broader stabilization?

Both can start with a review of the existing system, but their scopes differ. A defined repair addresses a blocker; stabilization may involve monitoring, deployment and recovery changes. The System Rescue Quick Fix price applies only to eligible workflow failures, not a general infrastructure overhaul.

Can you work in our existing cloud?

We review the current services, permissions and deployment setup before proposing changes. Access and tooling requirements are agreed, with the work focused on the system you operate.

Does this include 24/7 monitoring or incident response?

Not automatically. Monitoring implementation, alert ownership and ongoing response are different responsibilities. Any continuing on-call coverage or maintenance must be explicitly agreed.

What happens before implementation starts?

We review the intended outcome, existing systems and dependencies, then agree deliverables, acceptance checks, responsibilities and price. If discovery is needed first, its scope and fee are agreed separately before that work begins.

How long will the work take?

The delivery plan depends on scope, access, integrations and review dependencies. We agree milestones after that assessment rather than promise the same timeline for every system.

What access or preparation do you need?

Bring an example of the workflow or user journey and an overview of the systems involved. We agree the access needed for the work. Do not send passwords or private customer data through the enquiry form.

What happens after handover?

Handover, documentation, defect coverage and any ongoing support follow the chosen offer and written scope. New features, additional integrations and continuing maintenance are not assumed to be included.
